Our Mission
At Kalisindh Dam, our mission is to provide for the growing need of Power of India through Thermal and Hydro Energy . We also provide irrigation for the farmers of Rajasthan to bring maximum yield from their farms. The second phase of Kalisindh Multipurpose dam is poised to cover more areas of social economics . The tertiary projects have plans to
invite public and private partnerships to develop further projects.
Multi Purposes and future Expansions
Kalisindh Multi Purpose Project is Located in Jhalawa, Rajasthan. It is an ambitious project of Rajasthan Government to supply Power and Irrigate farming Land in Jhalawar. The Kalisindh Gravity Dam is 995 m long and 26 m high concrete gravity Dam that has a capacity to store 54 MCM water at F.R.L.316.00M.
Kalisindh Dam is used for multiple purpose; to Generate 1200 Mw of energy through Thermal Power & small Hydropower and to Irrigate 32400 hectare of land. The Second phase of the project aims to increase the capacity to generate Hydropower plus Thermal Power and irrigate more lands through extensive water distribution system. The Dam water shall be used to diversify into more Socio-Economic activities in the region, recently there has been a DPR done by the World bank to further this vision of Rajasthan Government.
